Jeffrey L. Schulman Recognized as Litigation Trailblazer by The National Law Journal

Nov. 06, 2020

The National Law Journal has recognized Pasich LLP partner Jeffrey L. Schulman among its 2020 Litigation Trailblazers. The Trailblazer series spotlights professionals who are agents of change in their respective practice areas. As Keith Edwards, Vice President at ALM Media, wrote in the special issue, "In such a trying year, we feel that now, more than ever, it is time to shine a light on those who have taken extra measures to contribute to positive outcomes."

Jeffrey's representation of insureds set him apart as a leader in litigation, including his role on the insurance team for the Official Tort Claimants' Committee for the Boy Scouts of America in its bankruptcy matters, as well as representation of prominent entertainers, musicians, Broadway theaters and a religious institution in a wide variety of insurance coverage matters.

When asked about his future explorations, Jeffrey said that he believes the insurance industry will continue to try to justify denying coverage to insureds who suffered pandemic-related losses. "We just filed a lawsuit on behalf of five Broadway theaters relative to the COVID-19 pandemic, and we will continue to work with all of our clients to make sure they get the benefit of the contracts they purchased," he said.
