Partners Jacquelyn Mohr and a Pasich Attorney spoke on multiple panels at the Choice Hotels 66th Annual Convention, addressing insurance issues hoteliers are facing today and what can be done to reduce operational risk.
In their session “Protecting Your Assets - Post-Pandemic Insurance Checklist: Insurance/Risk, Business Interruption, Cyber, Trafficking, EPLI, and Dram Shop,” Mohr and a Pasich attorney identified and analyzed frequent claims that arise in the hospitality industry. The attorneys provided insight for managing the risk of such claims, mitigating losses, strategies for getting claims paid and maximizing recovery when liabilities arise, or disaster strikes.
In the panel discussion “Top Risks and Threats Facing Hotels Today,” Mohr and a Pasich attorney joined attorneys and legal experts in examining the risks and threats that hotels currently face and offered potential prevention techniques.
The Convention was held May 3-5, 2022, at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.
