AM Best TV Interviews Peter Halprin on the State of the Cyber Insurance Market at Philly I-Day Conference
Following his session “Cyber Insurance & Reinsurance Update” at the Philly I-Day conference, AM Best TV interviewed Partner Peter Halprin and fellow panelists on the state of the cyber insurance market and the challenges for policyholers.
Halprin noted that the main question being asked by policyholders is if cyber insurance is worth it in the face of increasing premiums and more restrictive policy terms. He added that while there have been some disputes over coverage and policy language to date for cyber risks, more of these will be coming down the pike when standalone cyber policies are fully tested in litigation.
